Job Description
1. Fund Operations & Administration
- Manage daily fund operations, including trade processing, NAV calculation, reconciliations, cash flows, investor subscriptions/redemptions, and fund recordkeeping.
- Handle investor transactions such as capital calls, subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions.
- Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, auditors, and banking partners to ensure smooth operational processes.
- Support new fund launches, service provider onboarding, and investor onboarding activities.
- Prepare regular reports on fund performance, cash flow, and investor-related updates.
2. SEBI Compliance & Regulatory Affairs
- Lead SEBI AIF compliance activities, including mandatory regulatory filings (e.g., PPM updates, audit reports, disclosures) and managing SEBI audits and inspections.
- Draft and review legal documents such as Term Sheets, PPMs, Contribution Agreements, IMAs, Trust Deeds, Debenture Agreements
- Evaluate compliance and credit risks through the review of legal, title, and security documentation.
- Maintain up to date on SEBI regulatory developments and implement necessary compliance measures across fund operations.
3. Legal, Transaction & Investor Support
- Support legal documentation and transaction execution, including deal structuring and negotiation processes.
- Oversee enforcement actions, investor exits, and resolution of default cases.
- Coordinate investor communication, fundraising initiatives, and the preparation of related materials in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualification
Required:
- Age 30s - 40s years old.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in fund operations, fund administration, or a related role within asset management or hedge funds.
- Experience in setting up new funds and managing end-to-end fund operations.
- Strong understanding of India’s financial regulatory framework (SEBI, AMFI, RBI, etc.).
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- NISM Certification or equivalent Indian regulatory qualification.
- Experience in AIF, venture capital, private equity, or other alternative investment funds.
